American Heritage is a great magazine to check out if you of course....like American history. My wife is a member of a "freecycle" usenet group where members can post items they want to give away for free. Last week, she ran across an e-mail from someone who had three boxloads of American Heritage magazines from the mid 1950s-1979. My jaw hit the floor and we quickly replied. These are magazines in hard bound jackets and they are just awesome. Right now, our Buick's trunk is doubling as a portable library and I've been perusing volume after volume, while returning recently enjoyed volumes.
