Joseph Campbell was a really nice guy who came with theory of monomyth. In short, it says that in almost every story there are seven characters (some don't have to be characters, but can be events) that make a good story.
And when you look at it, there are lot of evidence that confirms his theory.
Since it is nice to know, for writing and reading comprehension, "Glove and Boots" did a great animated version and put it on YouTube for all the world to see.
I recommend taking little less than six minutes of your day to watch it, it is funny, easy to understand, and best of all, useful.
