First Book: At the begginning of the book is the following poem:

"If you long for your dreams and your dreams cannot wait,
turn your life into dreams and control your own fate.
And live in your own dream making.
In a world of choice that is truly your own,
where all the decisions are yours alone.
Even the time of dream waking.
But the dogs come uncaring into your play,
into your dreams and they take you away.
For no good reason they do it for pay.
Kill them dream-maker they stand in your way."

This poem is an advertising slogan for companies who create computer programmed worlds, where people can go.

The dogs are people who are hired by a person's family to pull them out of the computer world. The dog must physically enter the person's dream, where it is possible to die,to save them.

The story follows one particular dog, a man as he tries to help. I think the man may have lost a family member to one of these dreams. One of the dreams features the Red Baron, another a medievil castle.

Second book: European women are being sold to Asian men. There are no women left in Asia because of One Child policies and everyone wanting a male to carry on the family name.

I keep associating the word 'Terra' with it. That's all I can remember, sorry.

I'm fairly certain they were both sci-fi and young adult.

Thanks for your help.
