Intriguing and suspenseful story of mutiny on the high seas. Sort of like the story of the Amistad, but in this story the author wants you to feel sorry for the slavers. Despite being one of the wordiest stories I have ever read, it still managed to be a page turner. Hard to read stuff written this long ago.... I think the main takeaways that were communicated were :
1. Black people are stupid.
2. Black people will kill you if they get half the chance.
Other than that, a pretty good read!
