Hi there, I'm looking for a book I read in the 1970's. The main thing I remember is a boy who lives by the moors that he knows well. The moors are full of bog-holes that you could sink in and die, but he knows the area well. In one scene he has tro save someone who has got trapped in one of the bog-holes. To get to him because he knows the area well) he is able to jump over the bog-holes and reach the boy safely.
