Book which starts with recipe at beg of each chapter?

Hi everyone, could you possibly help. I read a book a couple of years ago, by (I think) an Irish Author, about a girl who went with a family to their villa in Tuscany or Sicily to cook for them. Each chapter started with a recipe she was making for the family. But can't remember the title or author. Please can anyone help, it's driving me nuts? Many thanks
