I’ve been exploring books lately that don’t just tell a story, but also reflect a deeper journey of self understanding and growth. I’m especially drawn to books where the character’s identity is shaped by both personal experiences and cultural background, as it adds more depth and realism to the narrative.
It’s interesting how some authors manage to balance storytelling with meaningful life lessons without making the narrative feel forced. Those kinds of books often stay with you long after you finish reading them.
Recently, I read a story by Cedric Muhikira that explores themes of identity, belonging, and personal growth in a very thoughtful way. It focuses on the idea of growing while staying connected to your roots, which made it quite impactful for me.
