    Hello!

Before 9/11 2001, I read a book whose main character wanted to distribute anthrax in central park. He was a engineer in an eastern country, but fled to the US where he was only able to qualify to work as a cab driver. This was to be his payback. He sent a card with little stars that "poofed" out to a small office distributing foreign rugs. He placed the powder under the popup. He somehow met up with a couple of radicals who wanted to place the powder in the ventilation system of some building in NYC.

If this rings a bell, please let me know the book title or author.

    Thank you,
    pookiesdilemma

Could it be Vector by Robin Cook?

    No... not Robin Cook

His books are like Harlequin romances to me. Cookie-cutter plots with interchangable characters and settings. This book was unusually good, whatever it was. Thanks though!
