I decided to try and find stuff by new authors since there's so much out there now due to the advances in publishing. I picked up a book that I'm reading now by a new author and then I found a book by Clive Barker. I hadn't read anything from him in a long time so I picked it up. I was wondering if anyone has read Mr. Be Gone and without giving too much detail, do you think it's worth reading?
I say this because the book seems a little thin. I was attracted by the interesting presentation in cover and internal pages. It looks like the internal pages of the book were printed to give them an aged look. Very interesting book to look at. The artist in me was mesmorized into buying it. I hope it's as good as the cover. Sadly so few books are as good as their covers.
Any recommendations... Should I just shelve it with my art books?
