Considering a Critique

I would like to hear from anyone who has had their book critiqued here. It is my first book and I would prefer the "private" revue on it, but I have a number of questions that I would like to ask a real reviewer.

1. How long do you and those you actually know take to review.
2. Should I start on the next book while I wait? (I have 4 more outlined, but am concerned I may need a style tweak.)
3. Is it possible to have generalized elements of a critique explained should I not fully understand them?

- I have achieved Kohlinahr so I am rather thick skinned, but I sometimes don't fully grasp the advice within.

Thank you in advance! 😎
