When I was a senior in college, Cary Nelson was a guest speaker. He was the most interesting to say the least. This guy is very *intense* Remember the history teacher in the movie Back to School?
That's this guy to a degree.
C-SPAN's book t.v. featured Nelson and conservative David Horowitz debating their ideas regarding the state of the American campus and ideology. Both have written some excellent books. As revolting as I find Horowitz's views, they are interesting despite their flaws.
