Has anyone read any of Dominique Lapierre's books?
I have read most of them, such as:
- The City of Joy.
- O Jerusalem ( co-author Larry Collins)
- Is Paris Burning? ( co-author Larry Collins)
- A Thousand Suns.
- Five Past Midnight in Bhopal ( co-author Javier Moro)
- A Rainbow in the Night: The Tumultuous Birth of South Africa.

The city of Joy, A great book for me and immediately vowed to travel to Calcutta. I lived there 2 years ago. The book was inspirational to me.

Is Paris Burning? , This book has given me new eyes to see my own city. Paris is full of little plates with the dates and the names of the persons who died for her liberation.
The authors of this book had done a great work. They apply the technique of interviewing key witness, from public figures to almost unknown people, from Allies military thru Resistance members, from Diplomats to German military. The authors ( journalists too) , in my opinion, did a commendable job.
