A couple of weeks ago there was an article in my local paper about aprons and how they're making a comeback. The article mentioned The Apron Book, and since I enjoy all sorts of historical topics, this one sounded interesting too. The book is a combination of nostalgia, with lots of anecdotes and pictures, and how-to- book with patterns, instructions, and embellishment ideas. I'm the world's worst seamstress, but I have to admit this little book has me wondering how much it would cost to get my sewing machine up and running again.
