Getting back into reading

So, I have neglected to read for many years now. :( I was on a recent vacation and my cousin I was visiting made me read a book called "The Alchemist". It was the perfect book to get back into reading. Easy to read and follow along. I finished it in 2 sittings. Any suggestions for something a little more intense but nothing too serious ...... yet?

Anything by Kurt Vonnegut!
I finished Galapagos and Breakfast of Champions this week, each in one sitting and they were both great.

Thanks, I'll look into the author.

WHOOT! Kurt Vonnegut's awesome! Also, for something kind of freaky and unsettling try Ray Bradbury. He never disappoints! ^_^

The Alchemist is a great book to reintroduce reading! Vonnegut is great too.

Have you read Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse? You may enjoy it if you like The Alchemist. It's short and sweet.

You may enjoy other works by Paulo Coelho.

Christopher Moore is good, quirky, funny and quick to read.

:)
