I know this is an odd question, usually people are looking for opposite advice, but I'm an odd person and my life is very odd, haha.
I am very, very good at filling my house with books that support feminism and diversity. Recently my kids have been on a graphic novels binge and are all in love with Lumberjanes, Nimona, Ms. Marvel, and Zita the Spacegirl. I think it's awesome that they love these books, but I am looking to expand our home library collection of awesome graphic novels with some that feature male protagonists. My almost-10-year-old stepson is one of the more avid of the graphic novel consumers in the house, and he absolutely loved all the titles listed above. I'm glad he loves them and can relate, but I think it would be good for him to see some books with male protagonists around his age too. I like things with a social conscience, for sure, and a minimum of swearing, sex, and violence would be appreciated.
What are your recommendations? Thanks in advance.
