Wow.
What a lucky person I am that I have never seriously contemplated suicide.
The nearest thing I have ever came to that was when I was 20 or so, and in the blue for some time over I cannot remember now what reason. I made my depression into a story of a lonely man, using not the facts, but only impression from my own experience. Of 24 hours of his life actually. How he lives on the brink, how he gets very small pushes nobody would really recognize for what they were, and how one final push (somebody telling some harsh word or something - nothing important) got him to take a final step and driven over by a metro train.
I had presented the story to a girl I lived with then, and she told me she really puked over the story. Too bad the story was lost - I quit with the girl long ago, and never had a copy of it. It might be interesting to read now...

I am sure that an idea about people being worthless is a very wrong one, but how to explain that to those who think otherwise...
