I am the Editor, or if you prefer, Curator, of a weekly blog (Good in Parts) which presents five classic novels at a time, in serial form. In many cases, as you know, this is the format in which such works originally appeared. We have done works by all the usual suspects, Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, Fielding, Dickens, Gaskell, Alcott, George Eliot, Radcliffe, Hardy, Galsworthy, Trollope, Wharton, Wilkie Collins, Thackeray, together with some earlier (Homer) and some lighter (Jerome K. Jerome, Grossmith), always in serial form (or, as the name on the cover suggests, Good in Parts). http://goodinparts44.blogspot.co.uk

Click this, and you can see what it's like bursting in in the middle of a book, and resolve to make sure you watch out to catch the beginnings of your favourites as they come round.
