Hi, I'm obediantly posting a hello, as I've just joined, browsing the net for places to find recommendations and opinions about books. I'm in the UK, and am a writer (recent) as well as a reader (inveterate) of novels. I suppose I write broadly 'romantic comedy' but I read anything and everything: crime fiction, classics, historical ficiton, literary, commercial, the lot. Hoping for some good chats on here!

Difficult question, without sounding egotistical! I'd love to be compared to Kate Long (The Bad Mother's Handbook). In my dreams....
Have been reading loads of interseting discussions on here today - but not really plucking up courage to post yet!
