Help - looking for a book

I read a book a few years ago - the plot line of the story is that someone is killing Supreme Court Justices - I remember that one of the justices was strangled as he sat in a porn theatre. If I remember right the person behind the killer (I think the killer was a hired gun) was attempting to change the way the court would rule on an upcoming case. If this rings any bells with anyone I would greatly appreciate the help!
