The book is about a white girl falling for a new guy at school he is also another race she lives with her father and pregnant stepmother[I think]. He later breaks up with her and gets with a girl of his race I dont remember where the boy was exactly from. I remember the last sentence of the book being "I love you turtle". I hop eyou could help!
