Inspiration on order ?

The curiosity pushes me to ask you what you think about the novels or others written after being ordered : May that be called art ? or, simply writting ? If I ask an author to write about a precise topic, is he creating ? or is he embroidering ? May the inspiration be something one orders like a pizza ?

It's still writing and the author is still being creative. If a teacher assigns a topic for the class to write about the class are still writing and are still having to use creativity and orginality.
