JOYCE CAROL OATES has just published MY SISTER, MY LOVE ... The Intimate Story of Skyler Rampike.

"Of course Oates, fluent in the valor and vulnerability of girls in our aggressively sexualized world, would be drawn to the unsolved murder of JonBenet Ramsey. But she is also imaginative and daring enough to fictionalize that horrendous case with ferocious intensity, nervy wit, and profound purpose .... An unforgettable novel of extraordinary dimension and power."

PUblished on CELESTIAL TIMEPIECE J.C. OATES'S homepage ... very snazzy

How do you all feel about this?
Last week the "Ramseys" were cleared and have a clean bill of 'none of them was in any way responsible for Jon-Benet's gruesome murder.

The book is just coming out so I haven't heard any talking heads applauding her or tearing her apart ... how do you think John Ramsey feels about this?

Some years ago she wrote a book titled BLACKWATER about the accident in Chappaquidick from teh POV of the young woman abandoned while alive in the car. It was terrific and held nothing back about Oates's feelings about Ted Kennedy and his friends and lifestyle.

What do you think ????
