Kindle eInk versus real ink (and an iPad)

I've got one of those microscopes. They're ace. But I spose that's not really the point of the article. But still, they are ace.
 
What would you get pictures of? It might turn out to be a good thing you don't have one.

Well, I collect fossils and uniform buttons so it would come in handy for examining microfossils and backmarks and other small details. I could also see using it to inspect circuit boards.

Of course we all know that I would also use it to look at bugs and tortillas (looking for a tiny baby Jesus).

A USB telescope would be cool too.
