As for Tim Winton, have you read Cloud Street? I went to see it at the Wharf and had no idea what was really going on, so this led me to the book. It was great!

Yep, and The Riders - now there's a weird and wonderful book! I had huge problems with the latter for a while, but after we studied it in my literature book I just loved it. I know he's written at least one more since Cloud Street, but I don't recall what it is called or what it's about, but I'm looking forward Dirt Music, I think it's called? I'll be on the look out for it when I get back.
