I need some help finding books that I read in my childhood. I don't remember titles or authors, just plots. All books were read in the early 80's, but may be older than that.

Book 1: Set in a boarding school possibly in the UK. Some of the students can do magic, but it is illegal in their world. A boy named Nipruram Singh (sp) is forced to eat a chocolate cake that has been magically transformed from a pair of gym sneakers. A girl brought her knitting bag to school and someone changed her knitting into kittens and she was upset that her yarn got dirty. Another boy is first cursed so that everything he says comes true. To try to reverse this the, a student changes the curse so that everything the boy says is false. A wizard relative of one of students realizes that magic is not supposed to exist in this world (multiple dimensions) and that something in their timeline is off and is causing the magic. A government inquisitor is sent to the school to find students with magic. The wizard relative poses as the inquisitor to find out the cause of the magic. He discovers that in their world, Guy Fawkes succeeded in blowing up the Parliament building. To fix the worlds, the wizard tells the boy who was cursed to say "Guy Fawkes blew up the Parliament Building." When the boy does this, the magic world and non-magic worlds combine.

Book 2: A young girl and her brother are sent to live with their grandmother for the summer. They think they will be bored because their grandmother is obsessed with doll houses and accessories. The little girl finds a ring that she discovers is a magic wish ring. If you turn the ring on your finger nine times while making your wish, it will come true. The girl and her brother explore the pond behind the grandmother's house after wishing to be able to breathe under water. They also shrink themselves to fit in one of the grandmother's doll houses. While they are in the dollhouse, the grandmother starts to show it to someone who comments on the fact that he can almost hear voices coming from it. The only wish that doesn't come true is when the little girl wishes for a golden nursery fender. They determine that you can't wish for things that will make you rich. In the end of the story, it seems like the grandmother may have known about the ring and the children's adventures all along.

Book 3: A young boy is given a potion that when he rubs two drops on his shoulder blades, he will grow wings. He does this all summer and flies all over the place. At the end of the summer, there is only one drop left in the bottle. He tries to use it, but it doesn't work. There are physical changes in the boy due to his flying. Either he or another character comment on how broad his shoulders have gotten over the summer. No other info on this one.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!
