Are there any books written about the kids who were adopted internationally(fiction or non fiction), which focus on how they have or have not adjusted to the parents of different ethnic origin? Also are there any books written by an adoptee about his/her experience? I'm more interested in how they feel when they become teen agers. Thank you in advance.

Your post immediately reminded me of a novel that I read when I was about 12 or so titled "The Sky is Falling" by Kit Pearson. Although it may not be exactly what you are looking for, it deals with a young girl and her brother who leave England during World War II for Canada where they stay with an older woman and must adjust to a different country and homesickness.
