Howdy, and I hope it is okay to ask for recommendations!
I love mystery books, but I find myself getting a bit annoyed when the suspect is discovered due to a very random, and never before mentioned clue. I really love to try and figure out who-done-it, and some authors do not write the type of book that allows for this to happen. Often they lead me on a great chase, and then suddenly flip around and pin the murder/crime on a different individual, while saying that they found clue X (but that clue was not mentioned up until then).
Does anyone have some recommendations that would let me vicariously live out my desire to be a super-sleuth? I've got a lot of reading-time ahead of me, and I'd love to order some books now!
