    Im in a bit of a reading slump at the moment and am looking for something new.My favourite books are

    1. 1984
    2. Horus heresey series
    3. Forgotten realms salvatore novels
    4. The Road Cormac Mccarthy
    5. Nothing to envy North Korea Barbartra Demick
    6. Hard Time Shaun Attwood
    7. Alas Nabylon
    8. Ready Player One
    9. The Stand
    10. Call of the weird Louis Theroux

    If you love 1984 and are open to delving into the Japanese literary genre, I recommend Haruki Murakami's 1Q84, which I believe is loosely based/inspired by George Orwell's 1984.

    I echo the suggestion for Murakami. I discovered him last year and love his books.

    I recently finished Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer and adored it. I like a lot of the books you listed as favorited, so maybe this would be up your alley too.
