Anyone else read this yet? I finished it the other day and loved it! Much better than The Hours (IMHO). His character development is really impressive, especially considering the short amount of time he has to present them and get them in motion (the novel is a series of three shorts tied together by Walt Whitman and a couple of other images). He even turns the inanimate into living characters with personality and motivation.
I wondered how it would work with the three very different stories separated instead of woven together like The Hours, but it came off very well without feeling forced.
I'd highly recommend checking it out. Anyone else read it? Thoughts?
