Most typical character's name

Hello everyone,

I started to wonder a weird thing and I could not find an answer, so I decided to try my luck here. What would you think is the most typical/overused American girl’s name in fiction? I would assume at some point it was Mary, but I haven’t seen this name much lately. Have authors just begun to put more thoughts into the names they use, so we don’t always the same, or is there still an obvious one that I’m not thinking about?

Hi, I am a new member, I really so read a lot, and I've found Jenny or Jen to be in more books than Mary, Nancy or Sue. Tammy is used a lot but Betty, Joan and Linda are very common too. Good luck.

Honestly, not that far. I'm not the best at writing while it's hot outside. Although, with September that is starting and everything cooling down, I should get back into it pretty soon
