I'm currently searching for novels that are very much like Vonnegut. I'm trying to buy my husband a gift for his birthday, which would have been easy had he not bought every Vonnegut book and read them all within weeks! He adores the author, and has gotten me interested in him as well, but for his gift I'd like to start him on another author as he doesn't read much as it is, and I don't want his interest in literature to fade.
He likes Vonnegut's satire, and he is very much interested in science fiction, with a combination of war and political criticism thrown in. I hope that isn't too complicated! Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
