I recommend The Wandering Earth - that Chinese movie blockbuster. It’s familiar yet strange at the same time, as the story is told from the perspective of a culture we don’t often see in our sf.

I also heartily recommend one of the best movies I saw this year, John Cho’s Searching.

I've been watching Happy! lately. Not a Netflix original though I think. But it's a whole lot of weird and wonderful and it has Chris Meloni. :D

Black Mirror. It’s an anthology series so it’s very easy to dip in and out of if not your thing. Third season just started.

Kinda pointless to suggest something when you don't give us something to go on, like what you have watched and liked and what you have watched and hated.

I like Black Mirror but I find a lot of it disturbing.

If you like oddball(ish) detective series, watch River on Netflix. Also House of Cards,
    Designated Survivor, Pine Gap.
I want to see Bird Box as the book was excellent.

I put off watching it for quite some time, but I finally started watching Lucifer. It's pretty good. I was pleased to learn that the series is based on the Neil Gaiman character from the Sandman series.

Me too! I just started not too Long ago. The leads are incredibly good looking. I noticed if you binge, however, the story gets samey after a while.

And I’m reading the comic, and it’s really good too.

I can't get myself to watch it. The fact it's based on a Neil Gaiman character is tempting, but I can't get past "the leads are incredibly good looking" part. I'm always leery about TV shows where everyone looks like they just walked off a fashion shoot.

    Just roll with it. ;)

If you haven't seen it yet, and are looking for SciFi, I recommend Dark Matter and Altered Carbon.

    Not sure I can. ;)

I've seen and enjoyed Dark Matter. I'm part way through Altered Carbon but not all that motivated to finish.
Sparky, have you seen Good Omens yet?

No, I have not. It's on my list though.
