New Features Coming Soon

There will be another large update being rolled out soon(ish). XenForo will shortly be upgraded to version 1.3.

To summarise, the changes are:

• Smiley Management Enhancements
• Various Moderation Improvements
• Custom BB Codes
• Google+/Twitter Registration, User Upgrade Logs, Censor Improvement
• EXIF Rotation, ACP Searching, Proxying and Change Logging
• Editor Toolbar, Spoiler BB Code and MultiQuote

ok a few that I have found so far -

1. next to the REPLY box on a post is a small + - toggle this for multiquote and you can + as many posts as you want to quote. It opens a dialogue box where you can move then up and down and rearrange the order before you get to the normal post dialogue box to add in any comments you like.

2. On the menu bar at the end of the section with smiley, picture, and media buttons there is a new one that gives you a few useful preset BB codes: quote, spoiler, code and strikethrough

Just a note to the owners of this site:

The tools and mechanics for posting to this forum are the best I have ever experienced online. I am a veteran of many, many chat, IRC, and BBoards from the inception of the "popular" internet and I have never been involved with a social site which was such a pleasure to use. I especially like the "Edit" features as provided here because I often think of something to add to my post or see a misspelling etc which I would like to correct and this site's feature for this is excellent.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK .... and thank you for allowing me to participate ! [:- )

Well I'm not an owner of the site, but as a moderator and user, let me respond - First thank you for the kind words, and I agree with you. Many forums do not allow any editing of posts or put a time limit on them, the ability to edit freely is actually a huge plus. Of course it helps that our members are well behaved and aren't abusing the feature LOL
