This is a colorful and engaging children's story about two young boys who are learning to tie their sneakers. Noah and Logan take turns executing the steps for tying their sneakers until they have finished and are ready for playtime. This e-book for young readers offers a step-by-step guide to the valuable life skill of tying sneakers/shoes and places an additional focus on color identification. This book is based on the method I learned to tie my own sneakers. My wish is that this story will enable readers to follow along with the book's process to learn this life skill or inspire them to find their own sneaker/shoe-tying method.
I’ve written this book series to help other children with autism learn important social and life skills that were difficult for me to learn as a child. I collaborate with my mother on the books- I write them and she does the illustrations based on my ideas.
