Novels about the late 90's

Does anyone have any suggestions for novels to read about the late 90's? Franzen's The Corrections is the only one I can think of, but I'm looking for novels of that type for a research project.

Not sure if this will help, but Hanif Kureishi wrote a book called Intimacy, which I thought was very much about the 90's man, sort of disillusioned and misplaced. He has written many books that cover modern life including Love in a Blue Time. Hope that helps!

Without (likely) knowing it, you hit what I was looking for right on the button!

The theme of disillusionment is precisely what I'm looking for.

Other themes in the late 90's "tech boom" I'm looking for: outrageous fortunes, materialism vs true happiness, greed, ridiculous expectations.

Any other ideas?
