It is astonishing to note how much really superb music is coming out of Poland at the moment.
e.g. Abraxas, Riverside, Quidam.
Ordinary Brainwash have also come up with a very decent first album.
Initially it suggests grunge, but then after the first track is out of the way, leaps in to far more intricate territory and turns into an admirable opening Progressive effort.
Stand out tracks are Snake and Sweet Agony, and the production has that suitably heavy duty dockyard sound that harks to the shipyards of Gdansk.
The musicianship is above criticism and the vocals while not perfect are suited to the industrial fare.
A super first album and Ordinary Brainwash are worth further investigation.
