Peigi is Peadar (Celtic music ITT)

I love Celtic music, the trad stuff as well as the more modern stuff coming out these days.

Back in April we were in Scotland and one day we visited some friends. They are both musicians and he (Brian ÓhEadhra) recently released an album. It's a mix of traditional Gaelic and some contemporary pieces. It's an excellent album and I highly recommend it. His wife Fiona provides backup vocals and her voice has an almost ethereal quality to it. I love it. ai5.photobucket.com_albums_y187_sparkchaser1998_smileys_wub.gif

Anyhoo, here are two samples:

Fathainn

Peigi is Peadar

Really enjoyable Sparkchaser, thanks for sharing. I must admit that I found the first song, Fathainn, had a quite Mediterranean vibe to it. Peigi is Peadar more along the more traditionally Gaelic lines one might expect to hear. Very pleasant listening.
