Peter and the Starcatchers

So far there are three books in this series by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. The premise of the books is the story of Peter Pan, and how he became the Peter Pan we know and love (it is sponsored/published by Disney, so it's more focused on that story rather than Barrie's). They are darling books, very entertaining and clever. If your kids (or you!) liked Harry Potter, or the Bartimaeus Trilogy (which I also highly recommend), they'll love this series. Every member of my family has read them and loved them.

I've only read the first one so far, but my 10 year old has read all three.

What I really love about them is the sense of humor. They're also quite well written for target audience, which is refreshing. They held my interest quite well and weren't to easy to read. It took me more than the usual 1-2 days to read the book.

I actually did not like this series. And I love Harry Potter.

I can't explain exactly why. I know I'm the exception to the rule. =X

All three of these books are sooooooooooooooooooooo good. I finnished each of them in a night!!!
