I recently read his Le Menteur, and since then he has become one of my favorite authors. I find him more interesting and amusing than moliere, and he makes you think more. Anyone else share my enthusiasm?
Also, a question: I know he wrote plays and a treatise, but I've heard that he also wrote simple poetry. However, I can't find it, does it exist?
Thanks!
