I used to have this book about an Otter that captained a tugboat or houseboat and went on an adventure down the river. He had friends - a frog and a mole I think. It's not the wind in the willows. The otter played the accordion (squeezebox), and it was several chapters.
I want to say it was probably published in the mid to late 80's? And I really want to say it was some kind of "my first book" type of thing. Not sure.
The book (hardback) was quite large in size (not volume) and white.
