Poem: Forever After...

Wabbit

A poem dedicated to my Friend Rach.

Forever after
The moon was La luna
The trees talked
And there was a crocodile that ate curry
David Duck
And bill Badger
came too
I miss you.

Hmmm, you want me to be honest?

Okay.

Don't like it. I liked all the other stuff you posted, but this one ... nope. Sorry.

Cheers, Martin :D

I kinda like it. Especially the first three lines.
I imagine a rabbit, a badger and a duck pointing to the moon, and discussing it with the trees.
Not so keen on the crocodile line, I have to say.
But, next time I look at the moon, through the branches of the trees, (a sight oft seen through the tiny Velux window of my bathroom), I shall think of La luna . . .

Short, sweet poem, Wabbit.

Yes, I like people to be honest! :)

I'm glad you did like my other stuff! This one is different to what I normally write. And, yes, you probably DID have to be there :) Thanks for the imput, appreciate it! Thanks everybody else for the input too! Comments always welcome, good or bad!

Regards
