Recommendations?

Hi everyone!

There must be loads of what I am looking for out there, but i was wondering if anybody had any particular recommendations.

Does anybody know any books about a haunted house (yes, probably all of you ) but a book that isn't by stephen king, and a book that really scared the - out of you; one that you would like to recommend?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The first one that comes to mind is: The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.

Originally published in 1959, it's a classic and one of the best haunted house stories written.
