Roger Crowley: Empires of the Sea

I recently read Empires of the Sea by Roger Crowley and I can't recommend it enough. The book explores a largely forgotten war, the battle for the Meditteranean Sea in the 15th-16th centuries b/t the Ottoman Empire and the Venetian Empire (and there allies). Truely a fascinating read that reads as easily as fiction. I am not Roger Crowley, btw (you can see me advertising for my own works below in the writer's samples section).
