I've been looking for the same book for about 10 years now, and it's a book I read in Jr. High. The book was about a girl who lives in a village, and the young girls in the village were slowly being sacrificed to a man with wings... or he could have also been a demon. Her friend/sister gets taken so she follows them to his castle. He finds her and forces her to tell him stories every night to help him sleep. Also she has to make clothes for his wraith women, and she uses her feelings to make them.
Anyway.. I know it all sounds kind of confusing, but if anyone knows the book or has heard of it or read it, please let me know. I've even gone back to my school to look for it but they don't seem to have it anymore... and I can't recall the name or author. Thank you.
