I've tons of books about children finding other worlds but never older people. I always feel like these lack something however. I can't put my finger on it, but it seems like a tired old man could use this sort of thing more than most children.
I'd really like to read a series about a senior or middle-aged man who is unsatisfied with how they've lived their life and see how they manage to find a better life in another. Any setting or genre is fine, but I'd prefer if the other world is actually ANOTHER world as opposed to joining the criminal underworld or something.
