What do you think about this book? Was it a good move from Harper Collins?

I've heard good things about it and I quite liked the opening chapter which I read in a bookshop.

I absolutely loved Skullduggery Pleasant. I can't wait til the next one comes out. Suspense, giggles, unusual characters, magic what else can you ask for? Oh yeah very well writen.
I enjoyed every page.
