Some Shael Crowtalon Poetry

Hello everyone. For a few years I have been having a go at some poetry and I am quite happy with soem of it. I would just like to hear what you think about it.
So here it is (or they is. Or they are... whatever):

Life of Shadows

It was fire not snow
And the world went quiet
And like a great hammers blow
The world became a riot

Brother fought brother
Men slew women
Daughter killed mother
And War had arisen

Both armies marched to battle
Bloodlust in their eyes
The sound was a giant rattle
And everybody dies

The soldiers were just toys
Just puppets to their Master’s will
And though this was debated
The world fell ill

If only war was not created
If only we had been much more free
At Christmas I should be elated
But it’s a Life of Shadows for me

I still see the looks on the faces
The faces of those who were lost
The war is now resolved
But it is resolved at a cost

I stand here in the shadows
Watching those who have glee
Am I too lost to be saved?
Too lost to be free?

Shadows are my only friends this day
They hold no clues of my past
I am here as a memory
A memory that shall last

If only war was not created
If only we had been much more free
At Christmas I should be elated
But it’s a Life of Shadows for me

Mist and twilight, shadow and rain.

The sun sets and the shadows fade
The rain falls and the rivers flow
The stars break through the clouds
The mist is a blanket on the ground
Crystals of dew from on the grass
The world sleeps and all its inhabitants

The angels sing softly
They play their harps to the restless
The night creatures emerge
And watch over us
For the shadow of danger is always present
And the light of good is never far away

Tsunami

The sea rose up
White frothing water
Death was inevitable
It came crashing
Screams resounded
Corpses floated on water

Buildings collapsed
A loud groan
Dust clouded the air
Lives destroyed in an instant
Calm waters all round
The living shed tears

The dead shed their souls
