This thread will close on July 16th.

A maximum of ten books will be put to the vote.

If more than 10 books are suggested, then books which have more than one nomination will take priority (books with three nominations get priority over books with two etc.)

The remainder will be put forward in the order they are suggested until the 10 voting slots are filled.

The complete collection of fairytales and stories by Hans Christian Andersen, since it was his 200th birthday a few months ago.

I'll second that since it was very recently added to my TBR list.

It looked like a bunch of people were interested in 253 by Geoff Ryman, but it didn't have much of a chance with the potter fervor that is again storming the world (nothing at all against potter). So, I'd like to renominate it. It sounds like a really interesting book!

Even though it didn't win last month, I started reading Rosslyn, Guardian of the Secrets of the Holy Grail.

Elliot Perlman - Seven types of Ambiguity

or

Michael Connelly - The Closers

or

Harlan Coben - The Innocent

or

James Patterson - 4th of July
