Surfing the net

Usually spend at least a couple of hours, or more. Then eyes go googly, I fall off chair and need to carried out of study.

Often visited sites are:

MobyLives.com
aldaily.com
stwa.net/scrawl
hungersite.com too!
care2.com

I'm good for between 10 minutes and infinity...depends on whats going on in the house--or who with two preschoolers demanding my attention. However, if naps coincide and there is peace I can generally get about 45 minutes.

For software reviews and utility programs I like zdnet.com
To check out new computer hardware I cruise by cdw.com
Search engines: Google, Altavista, and Yahoo
For news its CNN.com (BBC has a good site too.)
If I need a good reference site I try Bartleby.com
Scifan.com is a great one if I'm looking for a particular scifi book (I picked that one up here.)
Last but not least there is Orvis.com the site I check out when I'm lusting over flyfishing equipment.

Probably more, it just depends on what I'm looking for at the time.

BTW, I think participating in Bookcrossing would be neat, but I haven't been able to decide which books of mine I'd be willing to part with.
