Excellent post Sitaram!. A good relative of mine entered a book club and received a free set of their choice. They got me The Decline and Fall of the Roman Republic as they could choose a set of their liking as a bonus. I'll definitely be checking that link out. If I had a penny for every time a contemporary political writer about Roman-American similarities.

I have my great grandfathers copy, maybe I should dig it out again.
And SFG there are so many parallels. Mind boggling.
